These Ludwig cymbals were the first they offered in the 1923 catalog. They were made in the the Ludwig factory. This one was most likely used on a "lowboy" pedal, which preceded the "high hat" pedal. Or it could have been used as a suspended cymbal. Cymbals of that era were not designated as crash or ride. It's very heavy. The Ludwig logo is evident. It does have a couple of small dents on the edge, which could be hammered back in to shape. I have other vintage cymbals and vintage hi hat stands for sale. Please check my listings
