5 years agoHi, curious about the price of this drum, considering to sell.

5 years agoOh, OK. I suggest you talk to Scott Logsdon at www.sonormuseum.com about price, Also Jeff Speegle keeps up with vintage Sonor prices, I could contact him for you. I used to have that drum and wish I had never sold it. I don't remember what I paid for it and have not kept up with Sonor prices. I'm thinking it's going to be desired by a number of Sonor lovers. Do you want me to edit your listing to include "what's this worth?". Once you decide on a price, please change your listing to a sales listing.

3 years agoI just found this site while researching my Sonor HLD-593 Signature 14x4" Cast Bronze Piccolo Snare Drum. I was shocked to hear the above member only sold it for $1200 (or 1400 €).
It cost $1300 back in 1989 http://www.sonormuseum.com/prices/1989/1989prices.html
This site suggests it may be worth 4K to 6K in mint condition to the right buyer. https://www.drumcenternh.com/news/limited-edition-sonor-cast-bronze-snare-drums-at-dcp
Of course its only worth what someone will pay...but $1200...no way would I sell mine for that price...no way.
I do want to sell mine but I'm trying to determine what a fair price is for this VERY rare piece. Mine is in near mint condition. The only mark on it is a little bit of rim shot marks between two lugs, that's it. Absolutely gorgeous looking and the sound will make your jaw drop.
I sure hope to hear back from this group and others on there thoughts.
