1940s Slingerland Radio King set in Marble Lacquer

A few months ago I was fortunate enough to have been able to purchase about a third of Kerry Meads instruments and percussion items. Kerry Meads was a exceptional drummer and percussionist who recently passed away. Kerry played percussion professionally in the orchestras on Broadway; The New York Philharmonic; Carnegie Hall and the Boston Pops. He played for local Pennsylvania bands in carnivals, fairs, and festivals. He also played on cruises & music tours throughout the United States and Europe over the years.
Here's his rather rare 1940s Slingerland Radio King 3 piece drum set in Marble Lacquer. 6 1/2 x 10, 8 x 12, 14 x 24. Both toms have Radio King engraved rims. All original (except 1 BD "T") including the calf Radio King heads. Very fine condition, from a smoke free environment.
