Up for sale is a nice pair of 14" Zildjian K hi hat cymbals in traditional finish. Top hat weighs 1052 grams, bottom hat weighs 1375 grams. They are a nice matching pair of medium weight IAK Zildjian K cymbals. Good ink quality on the stamps, which are upside down in relation to the factory engraved stamps. The cymbals are in good condition. There is some edge roughness that is detectable by touch but would not photograph. No cracks but a very slight keyhole on the top hi hat. Top cymbal has some surface patina; bottom cymbal has some slight tape residue (see photos). Excellent sounding pair of IAK (Intermediate American K) hi hats with a solid chick and very nice wash.
All signs point to early 1990s on these cymbals; hammering stops at the bell, upside down logos, pre-serial number engraved stamps.
