$289 or best offer. Up for sale is a nice 1970s Zildjian A 20" Pang cymbal. No cracks, keyholing or fleabites(see photos). This weighs an 1866 grams, and crashes very well with a nice bell. Ink stamps are visible "PANG" is below the thin
1 3/16" tall Zildjian factory stamp points to 1970s. Photos were taken in direct and indirect light to show lathing, finish color and hammering; there may be reflections and shadows. Aside from some patina on the finish, and some stick marks, check out the pics for condition.
Online description; "Often described as “exotic” sounding - the Pang has a flatter edge than a China, rounded bell, and has a more pronounced umbrella-shaped profile. This no doubt contributes to its complexity....very smooth and mellow sounding. Halfway between a crash and a China".
These thinner 1970s 20" Pangs are getting hard to find without major condition issues. The bell is in great condition with no keyholing, and no edge condition issues, which is not very common for a thin cymbal from this era.
