Up for sale is a very nice Vintage Early American K 1980s to early 90s Zildjian K 13" bottom Hi Hat cymbal weighing in at 965 grams. A previous owner put a grommet in the hole which could be indication of oval-ing of the hole. The lathing is very fine. The K ink stamp is only stamped on the top; The ink stamp and factory stamp are upside down. There are no cracks or fleabites. There are a couple of tiny edge dings/roughness which were too small to photograph. There are some stick marks and discolorations as seen with vintage traditional finish cymbals of this era. There is a small amount of micro-scratches on the inside of the cymbal, as shown in the photos.
Online description;
"K Zildjian Hi Hats embody that immediately recognizable sound of a Zildjian K. These hi hats are incredibly versatile in all sizes, dark and low-pitched. They deliver a deep, solid "chick" sound, with a quick response at all dynamic levels". One of the photos is the 1984 Zildjian Catalog.
Photos were taken in direct sunlight to show color, hammering, fine lathing and finish of these vintage cymbals. The hand hammering is very well done and the cymbal was well taken care of. This would make an excellent top hi hat cymbal as well if you are looking for a thicker 13" top cymbal. This cymbal measures exactly 13".
Shipping to the lower 48 United States only.
