The slit marimba snare measures about 18" in diameter, 5" deep and has 16 different pitches or tones. There are many other tones on the than the obvious ones . There is a conventional snare head on the bottom with a snare. The conventional head helps to amplify the sound of the tongues as well as contributing to the beautiful low end pitch. When the snare is turned on,well, it's a whole new thing. There is a quick tune lug and a zebra wood drum head. PLEASE !!!!! do not pay until the S&H is calculated if you want this drum shipped.
